HyperStation: Last Outpost Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of HyperStation: Last Outpost ("the Game"), a mobile game published by HYPER HOLLOW GAMES, Germany. By installing or playing the Game you agree to them. They sit alongside the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern any purchase made through Google Play.
Looking for how we handle data?
These terms cover the licence and your purchase. Data is a separate document.
HyperStation: Last Outpost Privacy Policy →1. Your Licence
HyperStation: Last Outpost is licensed to you, not sold. Installing it grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play HyperStation: Last Outpost on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial use.
You may not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the game or its files, modify or reverse-engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded, or use it to build a competing product.
2. Free Act, One Purchase
Act I of HyperStation: Last Outpost and station tiers 1 and 2 are free to play, and the station keeps running at tier 2 without any purchase. The full story — Acts II to V and station tiers 3 to 10 — is unlocked with a single one-time purchase, "The Full Story", currently €2.99 or the local price Google Play shows you. It is bought once and never asks you to pay again. There is no advertising and no subscription.
The Game also uses HyperGold, a virtual currency shared across Hyper Hollow Games titles. You earn gold by playing and can spend it on things such as refilling the Grow Deck; optional gold packs may be offered through Google Play. Gold has no monetary value outside our games, cannot be cashed out, refunded for money or transferred to another person, and may be spent only inside our games. Gold that has already been spent cannot be refunded.
Purchases are sold by Google, not by us. Billing, receipts, payment methods, family sharing and refunds are therefore handled by Google Play under Google's own terms, and refund requests go through the Google Play refund process rather than through us. Google Play holds your ownership of "The Full Story" and restores it when you reinstall the Game on the same Google account. If something in the game is broken, please write to us anyway — we would rather fix it.
3. No Account, and What Lives on Our Server
There is no account to create and no sign-in. Your station — resources, buildings, tiers, drones, research and story progress — is stored on your device. Uninstalling the game, clearing its storage, or moving to a new device without an Android backup will lose it, and we cannot restore it, as we never hold a copy.
Your HyperGold balance is different: it is kept against a random player ID on our own server, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The station itself runs on your device and keeps working offline. Buying the full story or gold, restoring a purchase, and syncing your gold balance need a connection to Google Play and to our server.
4. Who May Play
HyperStation: Last Outpost is a stylised science-fiction game: drones defend a space station against RED BLOCK attack waves, and the story is told in radio transmissions. There is no blood, no gore, no gambling, no chat and no user-generated content. If you are under the age at which you can enter a contract where you live, a parent or guardian must make any purchase and agree to these terms on your behalf.
5. Our Content
HyperStation: Last Outpost, its name, artwork, characters, story, music, sound and code are owned by Hyper Hollow Games and protected by copyright. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.
You are welcome to record, stream and publish video of your own play, including monetised video, as long as it is your own gameplay and you do not present the game as your own work or redistribute its assets on their own.
6. Updates and Availability
We may release updates that change, add or remove features, rebalance the station, or adjust the story, and we may at some point stop publishing new updates for HyperStation: Last Outpost. A version you have installed keeps working offline; the gold service depends on our server, which we intend to keep running for as long as the game is offered on Google Play. If we ever have to shut the service down we will give reasonable notice inside the game and on this page.
7. Warranty and Liability
HyperStation: Last Outpost is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law we make no warranty that it will be free of faults or that it will run on every device, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of progress stored on your device.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under German and EU law — which apply in addition to these terms and are not affected by them.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and are not willing, to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the game or to legal requirements. The current version always lives at www.hyperhollowgames.net/games/hyperstation/terms with the date it was last updated. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
