HyperEcho Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of HyperEcho ("the Game"), a mobile game published by HYPER HOLLOW GAMES, Germany. By installing or playing the Game you agree to them. They sit alongside the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern the purchase itself.
Looking for how we handle data?
These terms cover the licence and your purchase. Data is a separate document.
HyperEcho Privacy Policy →1. Your Licence
HyperEcho is licensed to you, not sold. Buying it grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play HyperEcho on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial use.
You may not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the game or its files, modify or reverse-engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded, or use it to build a competing product.
2. Purchase and Refunds
HyperEcho is a one-time purchase. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no subscription and no in-game currency, and it never asks you to pay again to continue.
Your purchase is made with Google, not with us. Billing, receipts, payment methods, family sharing and refunds are therefore handled by Google Play under Google's own terms, and refund requests go through the Google Play refund process rather than through us. If something in the game is broken, please write to us anyway — we would rather fix it.
3. No Account, No Service Dependency
HyperEcho runs entirely on your device. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no server to connect to and no online service that can be discontinued out from under you. Your progress is stored locally, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Because progress lives on the device, uninstalling the game, clearing its storage, or moving to a new device without an Android backup will lose it. We cannot restore progress, as we never hold a copy.
4. Who May Play
HyperEcho is suitable for a general audience and contains no violence, gambling, chat or user-generated content. If you are under the age at which you can enter a contract where you live, a parent or guardian must make the purchase and agree to these terms on your behalf.
5. Our Content
HyperEcho, its name, artwork, characters, story, music, sound and code are owned by Hyper Hollow Games and protected by copyright. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.
You are welcome to record, stream and publish video of your own play, including monetised video, as long as it is your own gameplay and you do not present the game as your own work or redistribute its assets on their own.
6. Updates and Availability
We may release updates that change, add or remove features, and we may at some point stop publishing new updates for HyperEcho. A version you have already bought and installed keeps working; because the game needs no server, it does not stop functioning if we stop updating it.
7. Warranty and Liability
HyperEcho is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law we make no warranty that it will be free of faults or that it will run on every device, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of progress stored on your device.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under German and EU law — which apply in addition to these terms and are not affected by them.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and are not willing, to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the game or to legal requirements. The current version always lives at www.hyperhollowgames.net/games/hyperecho/terms with the date it was last updated. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
